Our staff from across the organisation were thanked for their recent achievements in only our third ever quarterly awards ceremony hosted by our Chief Executive, Jonathan Cowie.
Our awards recognise those who go the extra mile and live our values in their work and make our residents proud.
The awards are split into the Values awards for those who have displayed the PCH values of Care, Respect, Listen and Doing the Right Thing, and our Great Work awards recognise those who have gone above and beyond to deliver exceptional work over the quarter.
Each of our winners is invited to an awards afternoon at Plumer House, hosted by our Chief Executive Jonathan Cowie, with each winner receiving a certificate and a pin badge to commemorate their achievements. Winners are nominated by their colleagues.
Jonathan Cowie, CEO kicked off proceedings with a heartfelt thank you to the winners for making a real difference in their role and living our values.
Jonathan said: “We’re so proud to be able to honour our colleagues here today who have gone above and beyond in their role to make a real, tangible difference in the lives of our customers.
“We’re delighted to be able to recognise those colleagues who have passed a milestone in their service to the organisation – it shows that we have a dedicated workforce who enjoy working for PCH and all want to do the right thing for our residents.
“All our colleagues at PCH live and breathe the values on a daily basis and I can’t wait to see what fabulous stories and long service achievements we get to hear about during the next round of nominations.”
Cheryl Stimpson, Income Recovery & Financial Inclusion Officer was one of those picking up a long service award recognising her 30 years’ service with PCH.
Cheryl said: “Receiving my 30 years long service award on Monday meant a lot to me. Having worked for PCC and PCH for such a long time has enabled me to be a big part of Plymouth’s social housing sector helping young people, families and vulnerable tenants to sustain their tenancies and live a happy and healthy life.
“I class PCH as my second family and have made lifelong friends along the way”.
