Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) is Plymouth’s largest social housing landlord, with over 16,000 properties in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, including Cornwall, providing homes to over 35,000 people.
As well as affordable and social rent homes, our sales brand SO Living offer shared ownership, helping hundreds of local homeowners get on the property ladder.
Over the last year (April 2024 – February 2025), PCH has delivered 76 homes in Cornwall which were all prioritised to those with a local connection to the area to meet the specific needs of the community. This was made possible thanks to the support from key partner, Cornwall Council.
Of the 76 homes delivered by PCH, 38 of the homes were made available for affordable rent and 38 were made available for shared ownership purchase.
The homes are located in east Cornwall, in areas including Bodmin, Liskeard and Saltash and the schemes are named Highfield Park (Bodmin), Charter Walk (Liskeard), Trevethan Meadows (Liskeard), Tregay (Liskeard) and Churchtown (Saltash).
Of the homes delivered this financial year, PCH delivered seven one-bedroom flats, two one-bedroom bungalows, one two-bedroom flat, 32 two-bedroom houses, 28 three-bedroom houses and six four-bedroom houses.
Over the last five years (April 2020 – February 2025) PCH has delivered 231 homes in Cornwall which includes 146 homes for affordable rent and 86 homes for shared ownership.
