Last week, we hosted a Christmas Foodbank Donation Week, where staff very kindly donated items to support the Four Greens Community Trust (FGCT) Foodbank.
FGCT launched their winter appeal to collect 50,000 tins for vulnerable community members and we are supporting them to help reach their target.
Earlier today, Mark Rowles, CEO and Nicola White, Wellbeing Manager from Four Greens Community Trust met with Gill Martin, Executive Director of Corporate Services to hand over the donation of 426 items, including over 280 tins and 146 other items.
Mark Rowles, CEO of Four Greens Community Trust, said: “The generosity of Plymouth Community Homes has enabled Four Greens Community Trust to support over 60 vulnerable individuals and families over Christmas and into the New Year and the value of their donations was in total around £1,067 which is an amazing effort. Without support of partners such as Plymouth Community Homes our work supporting those struggling the most in our community would not be possible - THANK YOU.”
