On Tuesday 10 December, Devonport Live Café held their very own Christmas Winter Wonderland event at their Café on George Street in Devonport.
Over 100 children and their families attended their event and were able to take part in arts and crafts activities, enjoy free refreshments and have a family photo in a Christmas igloo. The children could also write their very own letters to Santa.
We are delighted to hear that their event was a success, and it was enjoyed by residents living in Devonport and beyond.
Thank you to Jackson Lift Group for the social value donation of 100 selection boxes for the children to enjoy.
Sarah Brown, Manager at Devonport Live, said: “Our Christmas Winter Wonderland event was a huge success, we had over 100 children attend with their families. We are extremely proud of the community we have and how everyone comes together to have fun and laughter and to create memories.
“Devonport Live is at the heart of the community and is and always will be a source of security, comfort, and support for everyone.
“Families had so much fun having their photographs taken in the igloo and then going on to do arts and crafts and writing their letters to Santa. We would like to thank PCH for donating the igloo and the contractor for donating the selection boxes and thank you to the local councillors for helping provide the financial help to supply the hotdogs.
